Goodbye Dixon!

Dixon Solid Clue lovingly called Baby Dixon, left us to join God's Great Heard, February 3, 2012. He was a horse still in the prime of his life. He died of a sudden, unexpected case of colic, caused by a displaced colon.
In the years that Dixon was with me, he taught me that patience and persistence always win out over pushiness or harshness. When I thought I knew everything about training horses, he taught me how to be humble. The lessons and love he shared with me will be with me forever as he joins the heard of memories that run runs through the hole in my heart.
Although I grieve for him now, the memories he has left me hold me strong in my convictions and the lessons he taught me reach out and touch the heart of others.
Goodbye my Baby Dixon!
